Well my comments last week regarding the sad and sorry state of some of our country music associations certainly stirred a few people into working hard on their keyboards. ( see Letters to the editor below).

Everyone agreed with my comments and like me solution was not forthcoming, but all agreed that they try not to get involved in the politics and belong to a club so they can enjoy their country music.

Paul Wilson said everything I said was true and then went on to state that Qld Champion Of Champions was looking to introduce a club show competition next year.

Surely ‘Champs’ are flogging a dead horse with this one. Sorry Paul but it won’t work.

Speaking of Champs, good luck to all those competing at Kedron Wavell Services club this weekend. Someone is assured of a big step up in their career after Sunday evening.

Champs is on from 9 am on Saturday & Sunday with the Grand Final on Sunday afternoon. Get in early to bag a seat.
