The Letters are still flowing in quick and fast about the current state on country music. (see letters to editor) It is pleasing to know that my comments have stirred some people into action.

The stage managers for Qld Champion of Champion point out the fact that several club members especially the junior members helped out backstage last weekend. I feel I must point out that these youngsters and adults were acting as individuals dedicated to country music but is their enthusiasm the same at club level ?

I think not. Because they don’t wish to get involved with the politics.

Congratulations to the Kid from Caboolture, Keith Urban who is now the number one country entertainer in the World. Northern suburbs country music club members must be thrilled that one of their ex-members has made it to the top.
