The free country music weekend at Lake Cooroibah on Noosa’s North Shore.

Will be held on the weekend of November 18 to 20, and sadly after 15 years three or four times a year this will be the last Jamboree at the Noosa North Shore Retreat.

What a weekend it promises to be with several country entertainers who have become regulars throughout the years coming together for the last time.

Joining host Desree Crawford will be Golden Guitar winner Evelyn Bury, NZ Goldie’ winner Michael King, Kiwi entertainer Gina Sterling,Steve & Michelle Sparrow ( back together for this special event), Maurice Hardy form Tasmania, Top bus poets Merv & The Grey, Vocal funny man Michael Pincott, Sylvia Delaney who will showcase songs from her debut CD ’60 Years Of Song", and a host of other top line entertainers.

Desree & her manager Heather Dorrington recall the good times they have had over the past 15 years.

"Heather and I marveled at the wealth of talent, that has emerged over the years"’ Desree said.

"We have seen raw beginners blossoming into, club & touring artists. Some of which have become household names in today's country music".

" Plus the resort itself has continued to grow and the previous owners along with the present one’s made major changes to help us, especially the large covered deck complete with stage".

These weekends were regarded as a place where one could recharge their ‘batteries’ and relax in beautiful surroundings

." We would especially like to thank the many people who helped stage these weekends and also the audience, many traveling long distances to join us ".

Artist have performed at the ‘Jamborees’ from all corners of the globe including every state in Australia, New Zealand, USA and Britain.

Lake Cooroibah Country Music Jamborees will be missed by many
